Paul Forrest Hanshaw, Jr., 58, of Mineola, Iowa, formerly of Glenwood, passed away February 2, 2006 at his residence. He was born August 13, 1947 in Maryville, MO to Paul Forrest Hanshaw, Sr. and Kathleen Marie (Bjorklund) Hanshaw. He was raised in Bedford, Iowa. Paul was united in marriage to Christine Kay Chaney on December 24, 1967 in Hopkins, MO. To this union one son Paul Forrest Hanshaw, III was born.
Paul faithfully served his country in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was employed with Mid-American Energy for 24 years as a machinist and mechanic.
Preceding Paul in death were his parents and father-in-law, Art Chaney. He is survived by his wife Christy Hanshaw of Mineola, IA; son Paul Forrest Hanshaw, III of Lincoln, NE; sister; Judy & husband Merle Engleka of Visalia, CA; mother-in-law; Betty Chaney of Hopkins, MO; nieces, cousins and a host of friends.
