Ralph Harvey Fuoss, 85 of Glenwood, Iowa passed away on December 12, 2021 in Glenwood, Iowa. He was born on April 15, 1936 in Wayne, Nebraska to Theodore Gus and Helen Louise (Westerhaus) Fuoss. Ralph attended school in Wayne and enlisted in the Army to faithfully serve his country.
Ralph was united in marriage to Darlene Rose Gerber on March 21, 1964 in Omaha, Nebraska. The couple moved to Glenwood where he farmed for many years. He also owned an asphalt company which is now operated by his family. Ralph enjoyed gardening and especially loved his grandchildren. His wit and sense of humor will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Preceding Ralph in passing were his parents, wife Darlene on October 8, 2014 and 3 siblings. Survivors include his children Kenny (Sharyn) Fuoss of Kearney, Missouri and their children Jeremy Fuoss, Jessica (Jesse) Gentry, Curtis Michael Fuoss, Jodie (Chad) Allen; Tammy (Mark) “Chuck” Riemann of Glenwood, Iowa and their children Sami (Kirk) Worcester and Johnathan Riemann; Mathew (Angee) Fuoss of Glenwood, Iowa and their children Cole Fuoss and Lydia Fuoss; Randy (Tiffany) Bakken and children Bri, Gage, Ebonie and Graham; Roxanne (Dave) Ralph of Arroyo Grande, California and their children Lisa (Russel) Hebrard, Lori (Jeff), Joshua and Luke; Victoria (John) Tooley of Paso Robles, California their children Jason (Amy), Justin (Arion), Jarrett (Jackie); Teri Fuoss of Grover Beach, California; great-grandchildren, Clayton Carper, Cody Gentry, Blake Miller, Brock Worcester, Jilian Fuoss, Tristyn Allen, Dylan Fuoss and Noah Fuoss; siblings Lila Kay of Wayne, Nebraska; Joyce Moore of Omaha, Nebraska; Elaine Lueders and Deb Urwiler both of Laurel, Nebraska; several nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
Interment, Glenwood Cemetery, Glenwood, Iowa.
Memorial donations may be directed to Every Step Hospice or the American Heart Association.
