Raymond Werden Granteer, 74 of Hastings passed away December 2, 2019 at the Amelia House in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He was born May 5, 1945 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Werden Ellsworth and Shirley Louise (Devine) Granteer. Raymond was raised on the family farm and graduated from Malvern High School in 1963.
Raymond loved living on the farm with his parents. He was employed at Henry Fields as a nursery associate and also worked at Pamida. Raymond enjoyed shopping trips to Walmart.
Preceding Raymond in passing were his parents and nephew Shawn Bragg. Survivors include his sister Geraldine “Gerri” and husband Walter Bragg of Tucson, Arizona; niece Dana Bragg Cosgrove of California; nephews Michael Bragg of Arizona; Jeffrey Bragg of North Carolina; cousin Norma Granteer Foster of Council Bluffs, Iowa; great-nieces Elin Bragg and Kambria Bragg; great- nephew Tanner Bragg and many friends.
Memorials may be made to the Wesley Chapel Cemetery Association.

I work at Amelia so had the pleasure of working some with Raymond 😊 He couldn’t always remember me but always remembered Hastings 😁 I took him one of the 159, years if Hastings and he remembered some if the people ! He remembered my sister Deloris and where we lived. So shocked to hear he had passed away 😣 RIP Raymond and God Bless You 💜 💜 Sincerely Joyce
I was a classmate at Malvern and remember Raymond well. Great memories of those times. Rest In Peace, Raymond!!!
