Beverly and family, I am so very sorry for your loss. Bob was such an important part of our Bass Pro family, he will be so very missed. He always had a good word for everybody, he had such an amazing sense of humor, and his calm demeanor was admired by everybody. I will miss his humbleness, his grace, and his smile and especially the wonderful cologne that he used to wear. Lots of thoughts, prayers, and hugs to you all.

    To the Blasi family,

My payers are with each of you. Bob made going to school in Glenwood special, he always greeted the students with a smile and asked how our day was going.

May God wrap his arms around each of you in this time of need.

Bev and family, so sorry to hear about Bob’s passing. He was our HS principal..a wonderful man, great example for all of us..great sense of humor too. We enjoyed him so much that we let him pitch for our softball team after we were in college. (supposedly fastpitch)

  • Sandra Grant Bullock Posted January 23, 2017 12:00 am

Bev, I remember Mr. Blasi as such a kind man. He was our high school principal at Dexfield and my mother, Winifred Grant, was his secretary. I was so happy to see both of you in Redfield for our 50th class reunion in 2015.

Mr. Blasi was patient, happy, and a man of high values. With deepest sympathy.

Aunt Bev, Barry, Boyd and family: Sending Royce’s and my love to you all at this very difficult time. Our prayers are with you all! Uncle Bob was a Blasi “boy”; with that wonderful sense of humor that he, Uncle Dwight, and Dad were blessed to get from their father! (Pop). Their voices even sounded the same, and it would tug at my heart to hear Uncle Bob speak, because it reminded me so much of Dad. May God hold you all in the palm of His hand. Jan & Royce Duncan

To the Blasi family, My thoughts and prayers are with you during this sorrowful time. Bob made a huge impact on so many lives, mostly those of us that had the honor of having him as our wonderful Principal! This man was truly amazing and how he could remember all of us even later after we were gone and graduated was incredible! Thank you all for sharing this great man with all of us!

Mrs. Blasi, Barry, and Boyd – your husband/father was one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. He was a great principal and even all these years after being out of school he (and Bev) remembered our names. He touched so many lives and always had a smile. God bless him.
