I first met Robert in 1981 at Western Nebraska Community College, he was assigned as my roommate. We spent long hours together and were with each other through thick and thin. My heart has an emptiness that I have never felt before I never was alone or unsure about the future until now. I miss him. I can’t wait till I. see him again I know he is with Ramona and they will be waiting for us. My heart is with all of the family.
Brenda- I am so sorry for your loss, I know how hard it is. You are a strong woman. If there is any thing I can do let me know

Bob taught me many things one of which was how to fish w/o being scared of a worm. In addition Bob also taught me how to watch and understand the game of Basketball. We often watched NBA games together I so appreciate him for being patience and teaching me the fundamentals of the game, the player’s history and their demeanor’s. Some years ago we were fortunate enough to get tickets to an exhibitions game in Omaha (NE). We watched The Seattle Super Sonics versus The Milwaukee Bucks play at The Omaha Civic Auditorium. After enjoying the majority of the game I told Bob I was going to get one of my favorite NBA star’s autograph Shawn Kemps of course Bob laughed and told me I would never get pass security. I proceeded to walk all the way down from the nosebleed section towards the Sonics bench then I side stepped security and made it all the way to the Sonic’s bench. I approached Shawn Kemp who was resting on the bench at the time and I knew I had it made. I asked Kemp for his autograph and my superstar Shawn Kemp responded “NO AUTOGRAPHS!â€â€¦OMG he turned me down cold of course I was crushed I turned to look at Bob who was still in his seat and he was cracking up the entire time which made me laugh too. Well needless to say Shawn Kemp was no longer my favorite NBA star. Bob also taught me how execute a great practical joke on friends. One time at work Bob convinced me to swipe the keys of a coworker’s car (Kelly Anderson’s legationary Probe) I gave Bob the keys and he moved the car from the front parking lot to the back driveway of the house were we worked. Man…Kelly loved that car and he had no idea until he looked outside and it was gone. Kelly was totally frazzled at first but he kind of knew it was a joke but was not quite sure who was the responsible party we all (…including Kelly) had a good laugh that lasted all shift and many days later.
I loved Bob, he was a great a friend and he will be truly missed!!! Brenda you are also one of my best friends; I love you and I will always be here for you anytime!!!
Dearest Ristan, Brenda & Ronald – all my love and prayers to you. We were so fortunate to have Robert (Bob) in our lives. A lifetime of good memories to cherish. He loved each of you dearly, and you made his life happy and fulfilled. The inner strength and love within each of you, will carry you through now and always. All my prayers and love – Cousin Janie.
