Robert Dean Freemyer, 77, of Tabor, IA, formerly of Glenwood, IA, entered into eternal rest on Nov. 24, 2007 in Fremont County, IA. He was born October 16, 1930 in Nebraska City, NE to William and Mable (McConahay) Freemyer.

Robert faithfully served his country in the Marines during the Korean Conflict. He was united in marriage to Jean Blossom Hawkins on Aug. 11, 1951 in Omaha, NE. He was a talented automotive body and fender repairman for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, singing, dancing and listening to music. His greatest love was being with his family.

Preceding Robert in death were his parents, wife Jean in 2003, son Theodore “Teddy” Bersane, brother Bill, and sister Estelee. He is survived by his children; Sharon & husband Terry Stanley of Glenwood, IA; Casey & wife Culline Freemyer of Tabor, IA: Yvonne & husband Steve Wilson of Tabor, IA: Teresa Jacobsen of Glenwood, IA; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters; Ray & wife Susan Freemyer of AZ; Willa Boltie of Council Bluffs, IA; Toby & wife Shirley Freemyer of Omaha, NE; Anita Vernon of South Dakota; Donnie & wife Pat Freemyer of St. Louis, MO; several nieces, nephews, extended relatives and a host of friends.
