Robert “Bob” Leon Gregg, 81 of Glenwood, Iowa passed away surrounded by his family August 1, 2023 at his home. He was born December 6, 1941 in Glenwood, Iowa to Fred Elbert and Leona Elaine (Williams) Gregg.
Bob enjoyed gardening, collecting frogs, coins and Budweiser decanters and hats. He was a member of the F.O.E 3784 which he had served as past president. Bob was a carpenter, machinist and diesel mechanic. He enjoyed spending time with family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Preceding Bob in passing were his parents, his son Fred Elbert Gregg and his sister Catherine Ann Elkins. Survivors include his loving wife Vena Gregg of Glenwood, Iowa; children Kent (Diane) Hankins of Silver City, Iowa; Tammy D. (Jonathan) Brent of Glenwood, Iowa; Julinda Ann (Daniel) Severn of Council Bluffs, Iowa; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings Fred Ernest Gregg of Shenandoah, Iowa; Walter Elbert Gregg (Deb Devaney) of Pacific Junction, Iowa; Donald Dean Gregg of San Antonio, Texas; many nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
Interment, Glenwood Cemetery, Glenwood, Iowa.
Memorial donations may be directed to the family.

Over 50 years ago we worked side by side at Skelly’s and I will never forget all the good times we had. You were a great mentor and friend and our lives just seem to separate over the years but the good times will be forever remembered. Vena and family, your in my thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time. R.I.P. Bob.
My Cruz’s always my thoughts and prayer of comfort are with you three and family . Bob’s humor an smile is forever with us. He will be greatly missed.
