Roger was a member of the American Legion Post and a longtime member of Grace United Methodist Church where he served on many committees and enjoyed helping at the Mills County Ministerial Pantry.
Roger was a man of integrity, kindness, and always helpful. He entertained the family with several Dad jokes with the family. They either laughed or groaned. He always told the girls to remember to check the oil in their cars and the tires and to drive carefully.
