Roger Lynn Shapcott, 85 of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away unexpectedly at his home January 11, 2021. He was born August 16, 1935 in Emerson, Iowa to Irving Ried and Thelma Maxine (Hatfield) Shapcott.
Following high school, Roger faithfully served his country in the Navy.
He was employed with the Glenwood Resource Center as a resident treatment worker for many years.
Preceding Roger in passing were his parents. Survivors include his siblings Howard Shapcott of Iowa City, Iowa; Barbara and husband Roger Slaughter of Glenwood, Iowa; Sharon and husband Bernard Allen Scott of Glenwood, Iowa; nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends..
Interment at a later date in the Malvern Cemetery, Malvern, Iowa.
