Ronald Eugene Bomer, 46 of Glenwood, IA entered into rest in Council Bluffs, IA. He was born March 22, 1969 in Council Bluffs, IA to Randall and Margaret (Barker) Bomer. He was raised in Mills County and graduated from Glenwood High School in 1988. Ron was united in marriage to Tracy Ann Haase on February 4, 1994.
Ron was employed as a shop manager for TAB Construction and was a member of the Eagles in Glenwood. He also enjoyed helping his neighbors with their farming operation. In his spare time Ron loved riding his Harley and 4-wheeler. He always looked forward to having a good home cooked meal and spending time with his family and friends.
Preceding Ron in passing were his parents Randall Bomer and Margaret Ballinger; niece, Misty Lybarger and great-nephew, Nick Bywater. Survivors include his wife, Tracy Bomer of Glenwood, IA; children, Lee and Holly Smith of Glenwood, IA; Brandon and Sasha Turner of Shenandoah, IA; Adam Smith and Travis Bomer both of Glenwood, IA; Emily Bomer of Plattsmouth, Nebraska; 9 grandchildren; siblings, Jeffrey Bomer of Carpentersville, IL; Jerry Bomer; Brenda Crawley; Diane (Chad) Cooke all of Glenwood, IA; several nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
Interment will be held in the Glenwood Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to the family.

Tracy & family, It is still so hard to believe that your big old Teddy Bear is gone! There are no words to say in a time like this, but always remember his smile that lit up the room and how much he loved his family. I know I will always remember his great big bear hugs and how he was always there for everyone! Now it is time for you all to lean on all of us!
