Steven Raymond Lincoln, 65 of Council Bluffs, Iowa formerly of Pacific Junction, Iowa entered into rest on May 28, 2016 in Omaha, Nebraska. He was born August 21, 1950 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Raymond Wendell and Betty Julian (Doan) Lincoln. Steve was raised on the farm in rural Pacific Junction. He graduated from Glenwood High School in 1969.
Steve was united in marriage to Kathie Lee McGinley on January 14, 1979 in Albany, Missouri. To this union two sons were born, Ryan and Brent. Steve enjoyed farming and was self-employed in farm equipment sales. He was a former member of the Eagles, Kiwanis, Keg Creek Tractor Club and current member of the Elkhorn Valley Tractor Club. He was so proud of his International Harvester Farmall 400 tractor that his sons restored for him for Father’s Day a few years ago. He was a devoted family man and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Preceding Steve in passing were his parents and sister, Julie Belt. Survivors include his wife Kathie Lincoln of Council Bluffs, Iowa; sons, Ryan and wife Sara Lincoln of Council Bluffs, Iowa; Brent and wife Jamie Lincoln of Malvern, Iowa; grandchildren, Dominic and Lilly of Council Bluffs, Iowa; brother, Douglas Lincoln of Pacific Junction, Iowa; nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Lisa, Amy, Nathan, Meagan, Laura, Kristen, Paige and Kaylie; extended relatives and many friends.
Interment will be held in the Glenwood Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established.
