Steven Ray Meredith, 58 of Glenwood, IA entered into rest in at his home in Glenwood. He was born Jan. 23, 1955 in Council Bluffs, IA to Ruby Lucille (Chambers) Hall & Shirley J. Meredith. Following high school, Steve faithfully served his country in the Navy. He was a former employee of the Super Wash here in Glenwood.
Preceding Steve in death was his father. Survivors include his children, Casey Ray Meredith of Wayne, NE; Honey & husband Caleb Wear and their two sons of Silver City, IA; mother, Ruby Hall of Glenwood, IA; brother, Lynn Meredith of Council Bluffs, IA; sister, Shari K. Reinders of Grand Island, NE; nieces & nephews.
Military rites will take place at the Glenwood Cemetery Wed. Dec. 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m.

I was so very sorry to hear of Steve’s passing. I went to school with him. He was a very nice man and pray that God gives you and Steve peace. I am so sorry I am unable to attend his services, but you will be in my thoughts.
Oh, Steve, I am so sorry I never made it back to see you…I remember all the fun we had working in Building 2 at Glenwood. You were always a class act…I will miss you, my friend!
