Shirley: I was so sorry to hear Wes passed away. You and the family are always in my thoughts and prayers. May you find comfort with those around during this difficult time. I know your faith, friends and family will support you for as long as necessary. Wes was always a kind and gentle man and you both always made me and my family feel welcome no matter how much time passed between visits.
Dear Shirley,
At the summer convention when Wes joined the crowd and was so upbeat we had hope for healing. You two were joined at the hip and made such a dandy team. Know you will miss him greatly as will so many others who knew him. May you find the courage to go on even thought it certainly will not be easy to deal with that “empty chair.”
John and Sherry Kooiker
Wes was a high school classmate in the ALHS class of 1958. He was a special person, and I always looked forward to seeing him. He will be missed by all who knew him.
