William (Bill) Roland Jennings was born on August 27, 1960 in Oskaloosa, Iowa of Clarence E. Jennings and Mary L. Jennings.
After graduating from Choctawhachee High School in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida in 1978, Bill enlisted in the Army and spent most of his service in Germany. In 1982, he met and fell in love with Inge and they were married on November 17, 1988 in Neuberg, Germany. Bill served 14 years in the Army as a finance specialist, obtaining the rank of Staff Sargent (E-6). After the Army, Bill worked for the federal government as a Network Manager supporting the region around Hanau, Germany for 9 years.
In 2001, Bill and Inge moved to Castle Rock, Colorado and Bill began his career with the Kiewit Corporation as an IT Manager for the TREX (I-25) project in Denver. In 2007, they moved to Glenwood, Iowa where Bill continued to work for Kiewit becoming a Network Manager in charge of deployments.
Bill and Inge bought a home with 3 acres for their dogs to enjoy. Bill loved his dogs very much and over the years they had several Irish Setters and Gordon Setters. Bill was very handy with tools and enjoyed working on his home and the homes of his family members. Bill also enjoyed fishing and tried to get his boat out on the lake as often as he could.
Bill was preceded in death by his mother Mary L. Jennings and sister Cynthia L. Adamson. He is survived by his wife Inge; his father Clarence; his sisters Carolyn (and her family) and Catherine (and her daughter); and his brothers David (and his family), Mike (and his family) and Dan (and his family) along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Bill was loved by everyone and will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

5 Condolences
Working with Bill has been one of my great pleasures. I am stunned to learn of his passing and my heart goes out to his family and friends. He will be sorely missed. I am ever thankful that our paths crossed.
I worked with Bill for over 15 years at Kiewit; he was the kind of guy that made you smile just being around him. He’ll be missed dearly; my sincerest condolences to his family and close friends.
Rest in peace Bill, so sorry to hear of your passing. My condolences to the entire family. I always appreciated Bill and his ornery ways.
I worked with Bill from his first day at Kiewit. He was always willing to help and was a hoot to be around. Some of my best memories of Bill were working with him on T-Rex in Denver and up at Cloudworks in the mountains of British Columbia. The man had great stories, a ton of knowledge, and a way with words. Rest easy Bill.
Had to privilege to know Bill when we worked together at Kiewit. Incredibly sad to hear the news and wanted to share my condolences with his family and friends!
