Zachary Dean Anderson, 35 of Glenwood, Iowa passed away at his home on October 16, 2018 in Glenwood. He was born on September 22, 1983 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Tracey Adolph and Mary Kathleen (Royer) Anderson.
As a young boy, he enjoyed playing soccer and always loved the outdoors. He had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed grilling out with his wife and family. They would sit outside around the firepit under the stars. Zach was employed as a grader for NQI at Bunge. He and his kind tender heart will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Preceding Zach in passing was his grandmother Dorothy Anderson and grandfather Russell Royer. Survivors include his wife Amy Anderson; step-children Devin House of California and Nathen House of Council Bluffs, Iowa; father Tracey Anderson; mother Kathy Anderson; sister Alexa Nicole Anderson all of Glenwood, Iowa; grandmother Donna Royer of Bellevue, Nebraska; grandfather Daniel Michael Anderson of Glenwood, Iowa; uncles Daniel “Rocky” Anderson of Griswold, Iowa; Rodney Anderson of Massena, Iowa; Kelley Anderson of Glenwood, Iowa; aunt Rebecca McBlain of Papillion, Nebraska; several extended relatives and many friends.
A luncheon will be served following the service at the Vine Street Bible Church; 202 N. Vine Street, Glenwood, Iowa.
Memorials may be directed to the family.

I am so sorry to hear about Zach. There is nothing harder than losing your child. MY heart goes out to all of you. Memories are precious hold them close. Prayers to all.

For me, Zach will always be the cute little boy next door.
My deepest condolences to Amy, the boys, and all of Zach’s family. We will all miss his beautiful soul. I’ll never forget his smile and how he made us laugh, or the deep conversations we all had, along with adventures that have now become treasured memories. All my love.
I didn’t know Zach personally but I know he was loved by many! He was a Great Guy who loved his Wife family and Friends and made everyone laugh. He will be missed by many!! Sending thought and prayers during this difficult time for your family!
