Bryce Austin Harrison, 85, of Malvern, Iowa, entered into eternal rest on November 21, 2008 in Omaha, Nebraska. He was born and raised two miles north of Tabor, Iowa on the farm he called home until the time of his passing.

Bryce graduated from Tabor High School. He was united in marriage to Dorothy Marie Jerabek on February 18, 1950 in Omaha, Nebraska. Bryce was known in the community as a hard working businessman who devoted his life to his work and his country. Bryce fought for our freedom and served proudly in the Armed Forces during World War II. He was proud of the time he served, and he was especially honored to be a part of the United States Infantry that captured the surrendering German troops and Gestapo which ended the war.

Preceding Bryce in death were his parents, Walter and Lillian Harrison, two brothers, Robert and Almor Harrison, his son David Lee Harrison, nephew, Donald Harrison and niece, Marybeth Mellencamp. He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy Harrison of Malvern, Iowa; children, Debra Ann & husband Richard Johnson of Ogden, Iowa; Robert Allan Harrison of Beatrice, Nebraska; Jane Marie & husband Kevin Harmon of Springfield, Missouri; Mary Ann Harrison of Omaha, Nebraska; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Peggy & husband Mick Annan of Coin, Iowa; brother, Carlos Harrison of Shenandoah, Iowa; several nieces, nephews, extended relatives and a host of friends.
