M. Jeanette (Wells) Parker, 59, of Red Oak, Iowa, formerly of Glenwood, Iowa and Lincoln, Nebraska, entered into eternal rest on December 28, 2008 in Omaha, Nebraska. She was born March 8, 1949 in Malvern, Iowa to James Allen Wells, Sr. and Mildred Marie (Brown) Wells. She was united in marriage to Richard Charles Meinders on August 25, 1967 in Glenwood, Iowa. To this union, Richard “Rick” Lee Meinders was born. Following Richard’s passing, she later married Johnnie Orval Parker on November 22, 1969 in Glenwood, Iowa and to this union their daughter Jill Marie Parker was born.

Jeanette loved gardening and cooking. Some of her other interests included reading, doing crafts and taking care of her pets. Her greatest love was her children, grandchildren and family. She had a kind and loving heart and was the best mom and grandma ever.

Preceding Jeanette in death were her parents and husbands, Richard and Johnnie. She is survived by her children, Richard “Rick” Lee Meinders (Parker) of Red Oak, Iowa; Jill Marie (Parker) & husband Dusty Sell of Emerson, Iowa; grandchildren, Ashley Marie Nosekabel and Jayme Marie Parker; brothers, James Allen Wells of Glenwood, Iowa; Thomas Edward Wells of Hastings, Iowa; David Eugene Wells of Denver, Colorado; George Sherman Wells of California; sisters, June Ann Maddocks of Glenwood, Iowa; Beatrice Kay Ahrens of Hastings, Iowa; several nieces, nephews, extended relatives and a host of friends.
