Ruby Fay Turner Monroe, 84, of Elkhorn, NE, entered into eternal rest at her home in Elkhorn. She was born Nov. 1, 1922 in Smallett, MO to Frank & Delta Florence (Fry) Turner.

Ruby was united in marriage to Clifford Gindelsperger and to this union two children were born: George Frank and Linda. James passed away in 1955. Ruby later married James Monroe. Ruby enjoyed being a homemaker and mother. She was an immaculate housekeeper and took great pride in her yard and flower garden. Ruby enjoyed the outdoors and loved to go fishing and mushroom hunting. She was a wonderful cook and would make candy and bake for her family and friends.

Preceding Ruby in death were her parents, husband Clifford in 1955, husband James in 2000, 2 brothers and 1 sister. She is survived by her children: George “Frank” Gindelsperger of Council Bluffs, IA; Linda Harmon of Pacific Junction, IA; 6 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, sister Elma Zito of Millard, NE; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
